Setting off
In 2018 five of us set off in a mini bus we had converted ourselves, aiming to get to the Sahara desert. We named our much loved camper, Karen the Convoy.
Some Stops
Along the way Karen made some pit stops in Amsteradam, Belgium, Paris, Madrid and many more small towns and cities. Here’s a photo of the beautiful Karen next to a big tower thing.
During the trip we posted updates to our instagram, which gained a bit of following of people wanting to see if Karen made it to Africa or not.
we made it
Two weeks later we made it to the continent of Africa, with Karen still intact and and here’s some photo evidence. We then drove it home and got to work building a few more and now they drive round Ireland all year round!
