Classic campervan hire in Northern Ireland, in the vans that started it all. Our Classics are hand-converted LDV minibuses, they are rustic, characterful, and kitted for proper off-grid trips, without the price tag of a newer Premium van.
They're cut from the same cloth as Karen the Convoy the self-built bus we drove from Ballymoney to the Sahara back in 2018, the trip that started Karen & Co. There's nothing precious about a Classic, and that's the point: it's the most affordable way onto the road, it's got real character, and it's perfect for exploring the North Coast, the Causeway and Donegal.
Our Classic campervans travel within Northern Ireland and Donegal. That covers an enormous amount of brilliant ground: the full Causeway Coastal Route, the North Coast beaches, the Glens of Antrim, and across the border into Donegal for the top of the Wild Atlantic Way, Malin Head, Fanad, and the Inishowen peninsula.
These are our older, hand-converted vans, so we keep them on the routes they're happiest on. If you're planning to head further south or right around Ireland, that's what our Premium campervans are for, newer vans that travel anywhere on the island. Not sure which you need? All Karen & Co vans are collected from our Ballymoney base, with free pickup available from Ballymoney train station. Belfast and Dublin airport transfers may also be arranged, depending on availability.

Kathleen is our family Classic. She's a roomier Mercedes Sprinter where the table converts to a king-size bed, with a bunk that sleeps two children or one adult, so there's room for everyone. Our other Classics (Ken, Kenny and Kevin) are two-berths, better suited to couples and solo travellers.
Every van in our fleet is dog friendly, Classic and Premium alike. There's a small additional charge, just let us know when you book.
Every Classic is a hand-converted minibus that we build and maintain ourselves, and each comes with RAC breakdown cover and 24/7 support as standard. They're older vans, but they're properly looked after.
Classics are our characterful, hand-converted minibuses, they are rustic, off-grid ready, the most affordable way onto the road, and suited to Northern Ireland and Donegal. Premiums are newer vans with extras like a diesel heater, a custom kitchen, and they travel anywhere in Ireland. Both are hand-built by us and fully kitted.
